Dear Michaella,
There are two points of view here:-
1. Yin and Yang concept
On a superficial level, or based on Yin and Yang concept:
Flowers create more Yang than Yin. And in a bedroom, usually, `more' Yin is preferred than Yang in a bedroom. Where Yin environment is considered more conducive for `rest'.
However, like the placement of mirrors; some of us feel uncomfortable with mirror(s) facing the bed while for others; it is fine.
2. Balance of the Five elements concept
This involves a deeper understanding of the Five elements concept. Here, for example, Flying Star analysis is used to check for any imbalances in a sector (if any). For example, if there is bad earth element #5 or #2; one can use metal element to destroy it. Such as in the bedroom. As you mentioned that flowers are `red' they represent the fire element and usually, the sector should not clash with the `red' flowers.
These are usually the two methods of how FS is applied in the above situation.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

User's Comments Today life is worth a million dollars. Yesterday it was only worth 2 cents. I can list a million things to tell you what feng shui has done to me in the last few weeks.... The information in the site is VERY VERY ACCURATE. without this site i think feng shui would die out because people won't trust it anymore. Best of luck to everyone. And make sure you apply whatever it is correctly and always monitor the changes because the little things can be disasterous. Thank you for the effort you guys are doing to making this world a better place." Dan, New Zealand |
