Dear Kaushal,
Yes, money plant can cling on walls and can be considered as a `vine' plant. It can equally grow well on a bed of ground.
Plants, if they are not left to grow wildly are always considered `acceptable'. But if it were to grow within the house, try not to allow it to grow up the wall.
For the external wall, it can still be grown but do not allow it to `over grow' uncontrolled. If one has an area where you want to grow it, in my opinion, this is fine.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
