Dear Anon,
I have friends who have a similar chair as yours.
It is ok to place it at your entrance area or in the living room area.
- If it is placed at the entrance area, it is best to place it facing the main entrance.
- If it is in the living room area, best to place if facing `out' e.g. facing a window or door.

This is still acceptable. Although my preference is that it is placed at the entrance area.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
